Akshay Tritiya is an auspicious day for Indians. As per Hindu mythology, Maharshi Ved Vyas and Lord Ganesh started writing Mahabharta an epic novel on this day. Even, Lorda Krishna met his childhood friend Sudama and his fortune changed forever. As per Hindu calendar there are three and half such auspicious occasions namely Gudhi Padwa, Dasara, Diwali Padwa and Akshaya Tritiya is being one of them.
